How Rubix uses your profile.

Everything you add to your profile — your practice, training, repertoire, availability, location and the work you publish — is used to operate Rubix: to display your profile, to power search and Discover, and to support the features described below.

Rubix uses your profile data to power automated matchmaking between artists and organizers. When an organizer posts an engagement, or browses for talent, our systems — including AI-based recommendation — automatically select and rank artists whose profile data (art form, experience, location, past work and similar signals) fits what the organizer is looking for. The reverse is also true: an artist's Discover results and suggested engagements are generated the same way, from their profile.

These matches are suggestions, not decisions on your behalf. No automated system books an engagement or agrees to a rate for you — it only surfaces the two sides to each other. You stay in control of who you talk to, apply to, or respond to.

Your profile is visible to other signed-in Rubix members by design — that is what makes matching and Discover work. Anything you mark private, or that a feature does not expose (draft posts, messages, saved items), is not shared beyond you.

Matching only works if what is on your profile is true. Keep it accurate and up to date — misrepresenting your practice, work or organisation undermines the people relying on it on the other side of a match.

We may update these terms as Rubix and its matchmaking features change. Continuing to use Rubix after an update means you accept the revised terms.
